Gullkalven (The Golden Calf) is the student championship of creative communication in Norway.

Together with Even Moseng, I did the entire visual concept and Art Directed the profile of 2009 in cooperation with Studio3.
It included prizes, a prize catalogue of 120 pages, a website with backend, an online submission and judgement engine, promotional posters and the award night itself.

The competition and award night was to be held during the most dramatic period of the recession/finance crisis of 2009, and we decided the theme of the event appropriately to be finance as religion.
Naturally, we had to turn Gullkalven into a shady financial institution of some sort.

The webpage featured, among other things, a stock market ticker integrated with the submission system. It delivered live information on which categories that would be the "safest bets" and where the chance of winning was the greatest.

The Norwegian Association for Creative, Commercial Communication (Kreativt Forum) covered the award show thoroughly. Check it out.
